The Malta-EU Accession Gold Coin
The Central Bank of Malta is about to release a commemorative Gold Coin in connection with the historical event of Malta’s accession to the European Union.
The
obverse side of the coin, shows the coat of arms of the Republic of Malta with
the date 2004, while the reverse of this coin bears the flags of Malta and the
European Union, together with the accession date of 1st May 2004 and
the face value Lm 25.
