New Issue Service
For many years we have been offering a New Issue Service (NIS) which is available to all collectors of Malta and Sovereign Order Of Malta (SMOM) stamps around the world. This service consists of a guaranteed delivery of whatever the clients individual requirements are. A range of various products are available for each issue, the most common are :- Mint stamps, Used Stamps, First Day Covers and also Presentation Folders. Here under are the various images of these items as well as others which are available with every issue. The process for the NIS is very easy for all clients local as well as overseas. Here are the steps which one should follow to open a NIS account :-
1. Send us the details of your requirement. Example: Mint, Used etc and the quantity required along with your name address and a deposit of only Lm 10 (USD 25.00, Euro 25.00). 2. Upon receiving the above information we will open a personalized account with your requirements. Each Malta stamps issue will now be sent to you by mail together with a copy of the invoice and the latest statement with your current balance. 3. One must keep in mind that in order to receive each issue which we guarantee, the account must be in credit to cover the invoice which is yet to be issued. In order to do this, after a few issues, when one's account has reached Lm 2.00 (USD 5.00 or Euro 5.00) another payment should be sent in order to keep the account in credit. 4. Should a person wish registered post, special packing or other personalized instructions please let us know as it is our wish to satisfy all our customers' needs.
Various items available to all new issue clients. Here is a brief description of what each product consists of. Each issue of a various amount of stamps. In this case as shown above the Dogs of Malta set has 4 stamps. This product item is the most basic in its own form, that is, all it consists of are the 4 stamps in the set. An envelope with a design in connection with the stamps on the cover the size of approximately 195mm by 105mm, together with the four stamps issued including a special First Day Of Issue handstamp. All four stamps inserted in a special black strip together with date of issue on the front. On certain issues throughout the year Maltapost issue a special set of postcards depicting each and every stamp in the issue, together with the matching stamp on the reverse side with a handstamp of the first day of issue. This folder shows the actual stamps, with the first day of issue handstamp together with all technical details in English and Maltese, with a brief description of the issue concerned.
